“Community” doesn’t just refer to the bricks, mortar, streets, and sidewalks that make up where you live; it’s so much more than that! What community do you have that you’re passionate about and what to build? Maybe it’s the arts, cycling, outdoor recreation, business, entrepreneurs, students, or whatever it is – your community is just that, your community. But communities need to grow, and do grow they need resources, care, and attention.
I’ve launched Building Mighty Communities because, over the years, I’ve found I’m good a helping people solve problems, find resources, and make connections. Look at my past projects to see examples of previous work that I’ve done to help make communities thrive. And then let me help you do the same thing.
I spent 12 years working in the Community Action movement, helping find local solutions to local challenges. This always meant making connections, working together, and finding solutions that worked for everyone.
Not every project needs to be a “million dollar idea”. Sometimes it’s just the little ideas that can grow, snowball, and make immense impact. But you’ll never know until you start building. I look forward to building with you.
